About Me

I’m Ute Thomas, a life coach specialising in confidence, self-belief, and life transitions. I work one-to-one with people who feel overwhelmed or at a crossroads, offering a calm, confidential space to think clearly, reconnect with themselves, and move forward with confidence.

My Story

For a long time, I was the person who looked like they had everything under control.

On the outside, I was capable, successful, and trusted with a lot of responsibility. On the inside, like many people, I sometimes carried doubt, pressure, and the feeling that something wasn’t quite aligned.

Over the years, I’ve come to understand just how many people walk around feeling overwhelmed, unsure of themselves, or disconnected from what they really want — even when life looks “fine” from the outside.

That’s what led me to the work I do today.

I believe deeply in human connection and in creating spaces where people can be honest, breathe, and hear themselves think again. My values are rooted in care, inclusion, and psychological safety, and I try to bring those into every conversation I have.

Today, I work one-to-one with people who feel low in confidence, lacking in self-belief, overwhelmed, or standing in front of a big decision and unsure which way to turn. People often come to me when they’ve been strong for a long time — and are quietly tired.

My role is not to fix or push, but to walk alongside you while you reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and begin to trust your own voice again.

Before becoming a coach, I spent 24 years in senior leadership roles in a fast-paced retail environment. That experience gave me a deep understanding of pressure, responsibility, and the impact that work — and life — can have on your confidence and your home life. But more importantly, it showed me how much we all need space to take off the mask and just be human.

Alongside this, I trained in psychology, leadership, and coaching. I hold a degree in Psychology, a Masters in High Performance Leadership, and a Masters in Executive Coaching & Mentoring, and I am a member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).

Now, I offer a calm, confidential, non-judgemental space where you don’t have to have the answers. A place where you can speak freely, explore what really matters to you, and gently work out what comes next.

This work matters to me because I’ve seen — in myself and in others — what becomes possible when someone feels truly heard, supported, and safe enough to be honest.
